We intend the BluePrint Hockey School web site for use by members.
Players - Before sending any information about yourself over the Internet to
us or anyone else, be sure to ask your parents for permission. Parents -
BluePrint Hockey School recommends that parents take an active role in
their player’s use of the Internet. We encourage you to talk to your players
about safe and responsible use of their personal information while using the
Internet. Whenever BluePrint Hockey School is referenced in this privacy
statement it will automatically herein to be understood as our trademark
reference.

At BluePrint Hockey School, we are committed to respecting your
Privacy. We recognize that when you choose to provide us with information
about yourself, you trust us to act in a responsible manner. That is why we
have put a policy in place to protect your personal information. You may

What information does BluePrint Hockey
School collect ?
How do we use it?
At times, we may request that you supply us with personal information.
Information may be requested when you register, take part in a activity or
event. Generally, this information is required for the operation of the
School
activity, event or game.
• When you register, we require your name, your birth date, the players
name, player’s birth date, e-mail address,
residence address, telephone number, and hockey
playing history. This information is required for insurance and legal
purposes.
• When you are attending the hockey school, activity or
event, we may ask for your name, the player’s name,
address, telephone number and e-mail address so we can administer the event,
for insurance or legal, or the website and notification to our members.
• If you choose to give us personal information via the Internet or directly
that we may need - to correspond with you to for example, it is our intent
to let you know how we will use such information. If you tell us that you do
not wish to have this information used as a basis for further contact with
you, we will respect your wishes.
• BluePrint Hockey School, the Ontario Minor Hockey Association, the
Ontario Hockey Federation, Hockey Canada (formerly known as the Canadian
Hockey Association) and all affiliated associations providing games,
activities or events through our BluePrint Hockey School web site may use your
personal information to operate our Association, our web site and/or
effect maintain and administer memberships to create teams, tournaments,
games, activities, events, newsletters, create and share reports amongst the
membership; and to perform screening services between you and us and/or
others. We intend to continue improving the content and function of the
BluePrint Hockey School and our web site. For this reason, we may monitor
membership traffic patterns and site usage and review membership comments,
to help us improve the effectiveness, design, and layout of our site and
provide content of interest to our members.
How does BluePrint
Hockey School protect membership information ?
When a member or participant partakes in activities, games or events, the
Hockey School may access your personal information. When you
register for membership or an event or access your membership information,
from a web services that gathers personal data, we may use a secure server.
The secure server software (SSL) encrypts information you input before it is
sent to us. Furthermore, we take steps to protect membership data we collect
from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
What about "cookies?"
"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser
on your computer's hard drive. Our cookies enable us to provide you with
service that is more personal. Most web browsers automatically accept
cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that if you

sections in either the BluePrint Hockey School web site(s) or the

Will BluePrint Hockey School disclose

Without the express approval of the elected officers, no mailing lists

the Association. The mailing list of the Hockey School is the sole
proprietorship of the School itself and shall be used only for conducting the
business of the BluePrint Hockey. BluePrint Hockey School may store and
disclose personal information as allowed or required by the applicable law,
including making disclosures that are necessary or advisable to: (a) protect
the rights, safety or property of users of our web site, the members, the
public, or BluePrint Hockey School or our web site suppliers; and (b)
conform to legal or regulatory requirements.
BluePrint Hockey School will collect aggregate statistics about our
members, traffic patterns, and related site information but these statistics
will not include any personally identifying information.

other associations outside the Ontario Minor Hockey Association, please note
that BluePrint Hockey School and its affiliates will make the personal
